| Pompano Beach trip

Got down to Pompano last week, greeted by East 30kts seas 8-10ft. We did some pond bass fishing until the wind could die off. Wish we had pond bass like that in Jersey! My brothers 29 Aquasport had a broken valve, dinged up piston, leaking exhaust manifold. We changed a head and still had a knock. Then the other motor locked up. 17 year old Marine Power 5.7s with 2000 hrs. He finally threw in the towel on that boat. Only gets down there a couple times a year. Seas calmed down to 3-6ft, east at 20kts so we put on foul weather jackets and got out on a 25cc Competition. Frigate birds pointed us to several Big dolphin that were chewing. We had a double of a 15 lb cow and 30 pound bull (I lost it at the boat) on Saturday right as the sun set. Got another BIG cow(pictured) on Sunday under a frigate. Lots of bonita, a skipjack and a blackfin. Got mobbed by 7 pound bluefish on Sunday. Tried daytime swording, no luck.
