unless something else happens, i should be bringing my new to me 88 dually home. the one that was posted in the boats for sale area here. but so far... its already been a bit of a struggle.

trading a trailer for the boat but overtime at the shipyard left me without time or energy to get my chappy off the trailer.

was gonna get it last weekend but i bought my kid a really nice specialized mountain bike for his tenth birthday. hes a great kid, he pulled the straight a's and he deserved it, even though i couldnt afford it. he counted down the days till we could finally go to the bike shop and pick it up. he had that bike for one hour and got to ride it twice before some**** (if you are offended by me calling him that then youre right, hes the victim, not my son) came in my garage and stole it, in broad daylight, on his birthday! so it took almost the whole weekend of searching,slapping, threatening and other things to get my sons bike back. but i did get it back!

late sunday afternoon got the boat off the trailer and was gonna boogie to louisiana and make the trade. but with the boat off i could see severe corrosion in the suspension. one shackle was rotted away completely. deal was my good trailer for his good boat and trailer. chris, the guy with the boat told me to pay for the parts and he would install them. i said no. i'll bring you a good trailer.

which brings us to today. $320 on new suspension,springs, equalizers, everything. easy job. bout an hours work and go make the trade. except that i paid for 7" ubolts and the dude put 5" ubolts in the box. so, back to marine supply as soon as they open tomorrow, install ubolts and next time i post in here should be a pic of the dually! cause what else could go wrong!!! (yes im knocking on wood rite now lol)

I won't repeat the word. We don't use it or allow it on this site, no matter what the circumstances. I can completely understand how you felt. Almost the exact same thing happened to my son. His rode his brand new bike in the park near the house, came home, parked it completely out of site behind our house near the back door and went inside for lunch. When he came out the bike was gone. Some kid (black) followed him home, walked up the driveway and took the bike. Told my next door neighbor, who was watching the whole thing that my son told him he could use it. (My next door neighbor saw the whole thing and did nothing, said he thought that the kid was my sons friend or something). (What a total a$$hole). Never did recover it. :(
My point is I know how violated you felt. I felt exactly the same way. But I never called the kid that word. That lowers me to his level. He was a thief, scum, a$$hole, etc., etc. And all of those words fit and were appropriate. But he couldn't help what color skin he was born with. The way I see it, it doesn't matter what color a person is. White, black, red, yellow, .... that's all cosmetics. It's what's inside the person that is important. What matters is what the person makes of themself.

its kinda funny,i live in the south and work in a shipyard. i can have real conversations with real men and woman with no hurt feelings. my coworker, leroy hurd, when i told him the first thing out of his mouth was, "****** like that make hard working black men like me look bad!" it was a white girl standing near by that was offended by the word. tashaka watts, my coworker, partner in crime and best friend in the shipyard straightened that self righteous biatch out right fast. explained to her that the world IS changing. we have a black president. black people are doing well. and the only thing holding back the black population as a whole is ******. white people are more than ready to accept blacks in most cases but for us to really share this world blacks dont need more excuses, they need more respectful young people and less ******.

told her it was her self riteous attitude that feeds all these new, unemployed, ebt grabbing protesters marching, burning, demanding and singing we shall overcome, like if the civil rights movement never happened.

I totally agree with everything you said about certain people being the scum of the earth. It makes no difference what race or color they are. People living off the government cause they are too lazy to get a job, thief's, scumbags, a$$hats, etc. are vermin and to my way of thinking they would make poor fertilizer for the crops, if that....

Calling a person a racial name... be it N***** for a black person, W*p for an Italian person, K*ke for a J**ish person, P**ock for a Polish person, Spi*ck for a Spanish person, etc. is simply wrong. You are fomenting hate and disrespect for a group of people based solely on their color or national origin. Hitler did the exact same thing against the J**s. You bring disgrace upon yourself for lowering yourself to that level. And don't try and hide behind the veil of "I use that word in front of my friend, and he's black" kinda BS. If he doesn't say anything to you either he's afraid to talk out or he's just plain ignorant. Either way it still doesn't make using it right. Perhaps you don't see it that way... maybe you think it's ok to insult an entire race of people because of the actions of a few... but I don't see it that way.
