Default Oil Injection Block Off instructions

Hi guys,

I have the Mercury PN 43453 block off part and I'm ready to convert from oil injection to premix on my '89 Black Max 150.

I've been searching for a nice step-by-step on how to do this and I can't seem to find anything. If anyone knows where there's a good tutorial/instructions, I'd love to see it.

Many thanks,
Jeb

I figured it has, but I can't seem to find a solid step-by-step. I keep searching and see a lot of opinions on it.

SpareParts - you posted a nicely detailed answer last time I asked about this, but we're a little hung up on how to recirculate the clear (now green from oil) hose that comes off the reservoir. It come out of the distribution pump, but then where does it go back in to? Thanks

If anyone else sees a tutorial on how to disable the VRO (especially on a late 80's early 90's Merc), I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

hook the hose from the inlet to the outlet of the oil pump, only needs to be a couple inches long. Completetly remove the resevoir, the tank in the boat and all hoses for them. Make sure to block off hte crank pulse port on the block
