Default 1980 V20 For Sale - Price Reduced

This 1980 Wellcraft V20 Steplift is a fantastic fishing boat with a hull that is very hard to find. It's very versatile and can be used in lakes, rivers, bays and the ocean. I've caught Stripers, Sturgeon, Salmon, Rockfish, Halibut, Trout and Kokanee in this boat. Please search the message boards like the Hull Truth and you'll see that these classic boats have a strong following.

The hull, floor and transom are in great shape, with only a few minor dings in the gelcoat deck. The boat design has a unique sliding deck hatch, that allows you to "walk through" the windshield to easily raise or lower the anchor.

The boat is powered by a 305ci GM Motor with only 135 hours and a Volvo Penta 280 drive. I have routinely serviced the motor and outdrive, and I always flush the motor and rinse the trailer whenever it's been in salt or brackish water.

I've upgraded almost everything in the eight years that I've owned it, and I've added some nice gadgets and features. See below:

• Pacific galvanized dual axle trailer with surge disk brakes. New in 2005, still in almost perfect condition. See photos.
• Re-wired in 2006
• Re-powered in 2008, 305ci GM, 135 hours on new motor
• Garelick EEz-In auxiliary motor bracket
• Monitor fresh water cooling system
• Kodiak 14 gallon bait tank with custom floor brackets that allow you to remove it whenever you don't need it. The boat is plumbed to continuously feed raw water to the tank.
• Custom removable stainless steel fish box
• Newer Bimini top, Sunbrella with upgraded stainless steel hardware
• On-board battery charger
• Lowrance HDS-5M, Grn 3 Chart Plotter with "Nautic Insight" (coastal mapping), and a chip with lakes and rivers (new in 2013)
• Raymarine DS 500X color sonar
• Raymarine VHF Radio (new in 2013)

The boat is set up perfectly for an auxiliary motor with a fuel line from the main tank and a sealed access hole in the transom with a splash proof boot. There is also a ConTroll King micro throttle control and an EZ Steer that allows you to link the two motors and steer from the helm. A nearly new 2011 Mercury 9.9 Big Foot motor with less than 25 hours of use is available for an additional $1,900.

This boat is absolutely "Turn key". The upgrades are done! It was just detailed and the engine was recently professionally inspected and tuned up.

The boat is located in Vacaville, CA.
