I'd go look at that and take four $100's with me.

Wonder how hard it would be to get a title for it? I wouldn't mind having something like that.

supposedly henry mckee left in all the good things about whalers and improved on all the bad things. better ride, easier rigging access , weight forward, more freeboard, ect. the no-title would be a deal killer in florida, but might not be as bad in ny.

I had a 17' McKee Southporter which is that same hull in dual console configuration...and that SOB would BEAT the livin' SH!T out of you in a 1.5' > chop...built like a rock, but HORRIBLE ride...an excellent execution of a terrible design

I've gotten rid of 2 of those in the last year or so. Gave one a way that was way waterlogged, and sold one to some 16 year old kids with no engine on an aluminum trailer for $100. The one I sold was in decent shape for a project boat, needed a transom which had already been removed. Saw it last week anchored off the north end of Wassaw Island with an old school Chrysler/Force hanging on the back! Feels good to save another one, kinda like the Humane society LOL!
