I've never used it but I drive by it all the time and it looks to be in very good shape. I don't think you will have any problems. Enjoy!

It is bad at low tide, dark black nasty mud that runs deep. It is OK for a couple months after they do a dredge of the channel but come later in the summer plan on being in long before low tide.
Since the storm there was other upheavals there so I would go on the Bass Barn and do a search on it and find out what is happening with the channels and debris.
I have heard that Sayerville Ramp is up and running.

Cool

Not sure what shape Leonardo's ramp is in after the storm, but it's not really a bad ramp, just steep. Never really had a problem with it and all I had until my Jeep were stick shifts. The nice thing is they keep the channel into the marina dredged so you really don't have to worry about tides... the biggest problem is launching at low tide and making sure you don't put your back trailer wheels off the concrete ramp. Seen many a boater do that there.

I've been out of Sayreville twice this year so far. It is a VERY nice facility....awesome parking, with two double wide ramps. Normally the place is like a ghost town but with the lack of other ramps, last Saturday had a pretty good crowd.

They only have floating docks at one of the four ramps, the rest were lost. Being crowded it was getting a little busy with just the one, but being I had the wife with me I just backed into one of the ramps with no dock, unhooked, climbed over the bow rail and backed off while my wife parked, motored over to the one floating ramp (which is long enough for at least 6-7 boats so no fear of messing up anybody launching from that ramp) and picked her and the kids up.

When I got back in there was no issue with crowds at all.

Was free up until last weekend as they were not attending the booth. Cost now for out of towners is $20.00

Its a 15 mile run out to the tip of the hook so if its at all choppy it is a haul but a nice ride if calm.

I used the Keyport ramp about a month ago. It was low tide. There is no water there at low tide. But other than that it seemed ok. Parking looked a little lacking. But I didn't have to park because I just had to launch and leave.
