I built these drawers for tools awhile back but just added some dividers and carpet. . I love having an SUV because everything is locked up and dry but one big factor is no tool box. However with this I can carry as much or more than I had in my pickup and its way more organized and easier to get to..not to mention secure. Would work for guns, bows or hunting and fishing gear as well.
Thought Id share an idea with anyone that drives an SUV and could use some ideas for storage options. ![]()

I have been driving around with a Craft-Matic bed in the back of my Suburban since Thanksgiving when my Mother-In Law passed and we needed to clean out her apartment.
People are calling it the Hearse. 'I need to ditch the bed and do something like this. |

Looks good...I had a big metal one in my work Tahoe...when I had a Tahoe...now I have an Impala with a trunk.
Having seen my share of rolled over SUV's it is important to your noggin to secure heavy stuff inside you ride.

i like it!! but i use mine like a pickup most of the time, wheel chair, haul trash and a host of other things that it would be in the way for me.
I hate the center console in my Tahoe!!! Everything is just on top of each other, always digging to find a pen, ck book or what ever I have in there. Got to do something in there soon!!
