14' Jon Boat "with" trailer

Had dibs on a 14' jon boat. I inquired about it two weeks ago. He wanted $650 but that included an electric trolling motor. Well I offered $350 for the boat and trailer with no motor. I was going to put my 9.9 on and use it for gigging flounder. He really wanted more than that but he said he would sell the boat and trailer if it hadn't sold by the end of the week. We specifically talked about my need for the trailer due to the distance between me and where the flounder live.

Well, I didn't hear anything from him for 2 weeks and he emails me back saying, "I'll take the $350.00 now, come get it!" So I called him and he says he meant 350 for just the boat - and that he sold the trailer a week ago. I said, well, don't you remember me saying I had to have the trailer? I say, "well, I have to have a trailer - I'll give you $150 for just the boat. He says no dice - I say, "then keep it!

So, I was excited this morning, but now I'm peed off! I had already called all my friends to let them know I had us a flounder barge! Sux big time! ::)
