Default My little boat trip

Disconnected the vro harness and WOOT!!! No more alarm!! Before the hurricaine hit I put 22 gallons of non ethanol gas in the main tank, the guy that owned the boat before me said he had that tank drained and cleaned. I put my nose in the gas cap hole and it smelled like some strange chemical, Not gas so I figured he told me the truth about the tank being drained and cleaned. well after the storm due to me not having a boat cover the tank filled with water, after getting all the water out when I ran it it stalled out several times due to debris in the tank, I am starting to think the guy I baught the boat from is a total lair and that is the reason he wouldn't return any of my phone calls.

He told me he disconnected the vro and was pre mixing, but he didn't tell me that he jery rigged everything so I replaced the rotted plug to the oil in on the fuel pump and removed his old plug and zip tie he had it held together with, he also used a zip tie to hold the fuel line on the fuel filter next to the the fuel pump so i replaced all of that with new hose clamps and filter.
I got a external gas tank today for 22 bucks used 6 gallon and it works great, no alarms no fuel restriction, the boat ran great for the first time.

Now to figure out how to get all the debris out of that tank and save the 20gallons of gas in it.

I put it on the trailer and on the way home it's making a screaming sound and smoke billowing from the back of the trailer. 4 tires on the trailer and only 2 have dust caps so sand and saltwater got in the berrings.

It sure was nice to feel the power of my 200 hp and the wind in my hair and I almost lost my lucky fishing cap when I took off and had it at almost 7000 rmp for a few seconds then cruise at 4500 rpms. I must of been doing atleast 60mph.
I would like to give a special thank's to everyone who answered my questions and helped me get to this point of awesomeness.

Now to get to work on the trailer.
It's always something...
