Default Power, power, power!

...is no substitute for experience. And an "experience" is what these folks got.

did you notice how hard that guy was slamming the throttles back and forth. Then he gets slammed straight down! Odds are it was a stepped hull, they do weird stuff when you get into rollers from other boats

just another dumbass gofast driver....takes a real genius to pass another boat at 70 mph
My friend's brother did the same thing. He got knocked unconscious and thrown from the boat... they found his body down river.

Too fast for conditions, driver error. It only takes a second. He was definitely slamming the sticks Dave. Boatload of folks without life vests + too much speed + all standing up when it hooks -- could have been worse, far worse.

Yours is much better -- thanks for posting. The force with which they were thrown around...purple bikini may need dental work, and port side girl was doing okay until the wall of water hit her in the head.

"What happened?"

"aaaahhhhwwwww"

A guy I knew but not real well died that exact same way. He was out on Lake Norman with his girl and friends. Dropped them off at the ramp and told them he was gonna make one final run. Never returned. Found him dead in the boat. Hit a wake and slammed his chest into the wheel, if I remember correctly. So sad. I don't care to go fast in a boat, but understand why some do. About 35 mph suits me well.
