Default Lifting the cap

I plan to pull the cap on the V20 this Saturday. My plan of attack is to use pipe scaffold on each side of the boat with a 4x6 going over the boat to lift from. I will have two 4x6s. They will be a little under eight feet apart. How much does the cap weigh? And will two 4x6 on edge hold the weight? I want to lift the deck using the fuel tank access hole and the deck plate I have just before the cuddy. Or can i put a piece of lumber across the cuddy door under the dash? Once I get the hull in the garage on blocks I will then lower the cap onto the boat trailer. This being my first cap removal that is one piece I want to keep it that way so any input is appreciated.
