Ad says its an 84, seems older than that. Most of the older novas were copies of the Supernova 24's and had similar windsheilds that went further aft. This one looks more like an old Formula to me. I'd be interested to hear what Ferm, Big shirmp, and others knowledgable about old hulls have to say.

that's definitely a 233 Formula, not a Nova
we used to fish one out of Charleston with a pair of Volvo Aq151's allways wanted to redo one. BTW, this is the hull Contender, Sea Vee, White Water and a bunch of others started with, including the Albermarle 24 this is gonna kill Ferm |

I had a 1967 233 with twin 2.5 litre for many years repower it with 3.0 litre then sold it to a friend who also re powered again with later model 135 hp 3.0 liters.
tremendous boat one of the best 23 footers around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But this time he did most of the restoration I still ended up painting it with Imron and this boat still rivals all boats of its size.Just go to google under [ Formula 233 ] and check out the third image [ Chadrows Formula 233 Sport Fish ]
