I'm looking for some ideas on what kind and where to place some lights on my V20 to give it a good look (pictures are also very helpful). I usually get out on the water at night twice a year but I plan on doing it more this summer.
The only lights I have now besides my navigation lights are one in each rod holder on the gunnel. Thanks guys!

I am going with led strip lighting under my gunwales, The advantage of putting them under the gunwales is that its indirect light meaning its not blinding you at night when fishing or running. You can buy them in 16' rolls and the cool thing about them is you can cut them every three led's and still wire it up and use that length of strip light. Im gonna be doing some 3 led strips in my hatches and bilge area and in some spots under my t-top. I bought 2 cool white 16' led strip lights and 2 blue led 16' light strips. each gunwale will get a full 16' foot length of blue and white on each side so I can change colors. Heres a boat off The Hull truth with some gunwal lights in blue and a pic of a boat with cool white.

white leds http://www.ebay.com/itm/3528-Blue-LE...item4ab5baf013 blue leds this vendor is in china. It takes 2 weeks to get your lights. This vendor told me in a message that these are the exact same lights companies in the U.S. are selling and labeling them "marine" for 80 to 100 dollars a roll. and yes both of these rolls are water proof. They also come with 3m adhesive tape already applied to the strip lighting for easy install and they are ready to hook to a switch with a power source. These leds do not need drivers!!!! I used LED strip lighting for my V and it works sweet for night time striper fishing. Here is my old post with pictures.

Just out of curiosity, how to you feed power to these LED's? Is there any soldering involved or are they screw terminals?

Thanks for the ideas guys. The red LEDs sounds like the way to go. I'll get some pictures posted once I get them installed.
