Default is the 3.7 eng. a eng. option for 89 V20

im looking at purchasing a 89 V20 steplift with a 3.7 eng.. when i look it up in the Wellcraft 89 catolog i dont see that option. can anyone explain this to me . im new with the boating hobby

Well, ill take a stab here.......if its an outboard......well, you can put anything back there you like.

If its an I/O, well once again, you can put anything IN there you like. And whoever has the boat, wanted the 3.7. I am fairly certain wellcraft didnt list a 383 stroker motor as an option either in 1988, but thats what ours has in it.

I don't know why they didn't have it in the brochure, but the 3.7 was available from Mercruiser in 89. I want to think that may have been the last year, that may be why its not shown
