Default need advice

removeing my engine from my boat how is the shaft on the leg connected to the engine . is it just a shaft with splines . does it just slide out any locking pins . dont want to force it and damage it . before i no whats holding it

I believe you put the shifter in forward then remove the trim rams and the 6 nuts that atatch the outdrive and it comes out. Unbolt the engine and lift it out.

much easier to pull the drive before pulling the engine. Just put the shifter in fwd, remove the trim cylinder pins Like Ferm said, and remove the 6 mounting nuts
