Dodged 2 bullets yesterday....
Wheeeeeeeww sigh of relief
Started smelling a gas odor in the bilge this weekend....was fearing the worst -tank replacement....popped the front cover off the tank and its just my gas fill hose gone bad....like mush! Already replaced all fuel lines from tank to motor so now its time for fill and vent hose....  Transducer got broken off this weekend, had to remount. I was VERY nervous about drilling into the transome and finding wet wood, or even water seeping out....NEITHER!! Got good wood and dry from the previous holes!!  I love how easy it is to get to the gas fill neck of my tank...great design I LOVE MY V!!
