Check out this thread on Bloody Decks. There are two things I want to point out:

			1) these guys talk all kinds of good about our V20's & V21's. 2) I love rainbows - nuff said. http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/bo...-skipjack.html ![]() ![]()

I was wondering why that quote about the thread, it didn't look like a gay website\topic etc...then Kaboom, there it was! ...not like I had to go back and look for a stinkin tricycle.

I frequent Bloodydecks and even post from time to time (different screen name). The Skipjacks are very popular around here and I always thought the V20 and the Skippy 20 open are very similar boats. Look for the avatar photo of "Trayscool" 20 open (try not to get lost in the rainbow while looking) and the sig pic from "Road King Cole" here! The V20's are not common here but everyone I talk to about my new old V20 gets excited and brings up a story of their dad/granddad/uncle that used to take them fishing on one back in the day. Maybe that is a good thing because the asking prices for the popular old Skipjacks are pretty high.

I like the looks of the skip jacks too. You are right they are rather popular out your way. Question - is the Skipjack 28 and Wellcraft Skipjack 28 the same boat?

I thought he was referring to the other "V"; the spread legs on the beach. I did "steal" that picture actually from willy's infamous "good morning" thread.

Remarkable the similarity in the Skipjack 20' and the Wellcraft version eh? The 24' skippy would be sweet with diesel.
