Default battery info

Does anyone kow if they make a marine battery with side posts, can't seem to find it online. I can't use a conversion post because I don't have the height clearance for a top post. I'm planning on putting my batteries in my floor hatch, only have 10" to the bottom of my hatch cover. Thanks

I have been using car battery's in my boat for years!! I know there will be those that say NO, but they last much longer and have a great warr on most!
I got sick of paying big $$$ and they last a short time. One in my boat right now is 5 years old the other 4 and still going strong.

Just my 2 cents worth

If you're talking about a cranking battery, I agree w/MJ...
