Hey I Read in the Syracuse paper today that Baltimore with 79.9" of snow measured at the Baltimore/Washington Airport has over taken Syracuse with only 76" for the year as the snowiest city in the US. There is a ray of hope for us up here as we are right at our average snow fall for this time of the year while it appears Baltimore must be some what ahead of their average snow fall. Beckley, WV has had a new record set as of yesterday with 101.4" on the ground and Snowshoe, WV is currently at 158" on the ground.
here's an email from a friend: I just want to know where Al Gore is. He PROMISED us that global warming would be here by now. The final snow count is 83" for Baltimore and all of it is in my yard! Terry Hastings

5-6" here in Wilmington. Melted some during the day, then froze hard last night, but it's "warming" up to the mid 40's early, so it should all be gone by this afternoon. Good to see a little bit though. It's a true rarety down here.
