Default My vacation!

Well I am home, I want to thank John for watching out for my board while I was gone!
We got to and on the boat with out issues last Saturday and had a great first night.
Sunday we came into Key West for te day and what a day it was!! Hell I bet t was warmer at home in Mass.!! Everyone was freezing. the wind was blowing and they said for the first time they had to include a wind chill in the weather forecast! Margaret and others were happy they were from New England and had the winter gear with them as they had to use it! We were walking around town with gloves on. I did not even take the time to take pic's here as I have been there done that before. We just grabe a few T Shirts and headed back to the boat.
Wer had a nice dinner that night and spent all Monday at Sea. Spent sometime in the Casino, and went t the show they put on each night and went to bed.
Tue we showed up in the Grand Caymans and went a shore for the day. We went around looking in all the shops and different places, but never left the town area. They have the nicest color water I have ever seen and some very nice scenery, I wish we had more time to spend there but we were only there from 8 am till 2 pm and that includes getting a launch from the boat to the island and back as they have no docks for the ships.

Here are a few pic's I have from the Caymans:

here are a few ships that were there before us

These are the boats that come and transport us to the island

A pic from the sip of the island

What a zoo on shore!!

Look at the water color

After leaving the Caymans we made way for Roatan (Honduras) we arrived there at Noon Wednesday and left at 5 pm, again we just stayed in and around the ship area and looked around, I went for a swim there and the water was like a bath tub. I took the wife on the ski lift to look around and had something to eat, but all they had was American food?? It seems if you wanted anything else you had to leave the ship area to get it, and we did not sign up for any tours or anything like that, and it was going to be a short day any way.

Here is the island as we were getting near

Here is a old wreck of some kind, Old fishing boat I am sure

Here is me and the little lady, man she had the life!! I had to push her everywhere in that chair, and it wasn't always easy in my condition!!

Remember I just had a Heart Attack!!

The water doesn't seem to be that salty like we have here up north??

Here are a few pic's from the ski lift

Hey were did that come from??

Here we are leaving, but I did have my V20 T shirt with me!! I have saved this whitye one for a few years just wearing once in a while to keep it clean!

Here we are in Mexico were we had are longest day and the best time. Of coarse it took us this long to figure out what we were doing as we have never gone any were before!
At this point I have to say there are not a lot of pic's as I droped the camera in the water and it will never be seen again :( :( But I had a second that I got a few pics with.

Here is the little women with a balloon hat this guy at a restaurant made her, she was pissed leaving it on the boat!! I was glad not to see it again!

What the hell I will play also

Oh here is her little balloon man now!

Well there you have it, my vacation week I hope you enjoy it We did!

Welcome back. What sucks about vaca's is that they go by so quick. I've been on 4-5 cruises, we are trying to save up to do an Alaskan cruise.

Looks the the weather was good other than the cold key west day.

Where\what was that ski lift thing over the water?

The weather was nothing to right home about!! I never saw a sunset or a star the whole trip! Always fighting the clouds and the wind.

The ski lift was in Hondouras

That looks like Senior Frogs. We were there with those same balloon hats on.

It got really wild while we were there. The people on our cruise ship took that place over and next thing I knew women were wandering there topless.

WOOHOO titties

I thought it was frogs too. Didn't see anyone topless (there), but we didn't have to wear any balloon hats either.

Yes, makes me want to go on a cruise soon. They treat you right.

Sorry the weather wasn't all that great, but it could'a been worse. We had rainy\stormy trips. The first time we went to the caymen's, the water was too rough to tender to shore. Broke out the champagne we brought onboard and made mimosa's to start our "fun day at sea". So, it didn't suck. I don't mind hanging out at the adult pool with a bucket 'o beer by my side.
