Default Trip to new boat location.... pictures....

This past Sunday, I trailered the V20 to the South Coast, to La Parguera in Lajas, which is where I started boating long time ago. Took me 5 hours to get there, because I took the long route via the mountains. I had to stop for one hour because one bolt broke on the trailer, and had to stop to get one at an auto parts store and install it.
The two rock mountains you will see, we call them "Las Tetas de Cayey" or "Cayey`s Boobies", they are very pretty and we believe our Natives used them as landmark and of much spiritual value because they carved rocks with their shape, and we have found many of those carvings and they are preserved as arqueological treasures.
The SUV is what I got after the old 87 Montero`s engine blew up. This is an 98 Montero and after much search I found it in manual trany. It`s a sweet ride, and it has a V6 so it`s much faster than the old 4 cyl in the old 87.
La Parguera is one of the best gathering places here in P.R. A lot of people go there for w.e. fun. It`s a boater`s dream. It has all kinds of Sea forms, from mangrove areas, to reefs, to deep sea fishing, and many shallow areas for boat gatherings.
I will leave the V20 there `till November, on the trailer at a dry lot for $65/month. If any of you want to go there for Vac, my V20 is there for you at no charge, just put some gas and use it. You just need to be born before 1972 or will need a Local Marine Permit/License to ride here.
Here in Parguera is Isla de Magueyes, which is a Lab/University Campus for Marine Biology, and is where they have the pool tanks for curing and caring for hurt Manatees and other marine creatures they find stranded or sick. This Lab Island is very much respected here because of what they do.
