Default My Daughter Finished her Boat!

Refreshing your memory: my ten year old girl asked, for her birthday, "to build a kid-sized rowboat with Daddy." Too good a project to pass up. On the side, I carved her her own set of oars. The pictures show her receiving the oars, then launching the "Phoenix" for its maiden voyage. The plans came from Hannu's Boatyard website. It's a great site. Anyone messing with building their own stuff ought to get familiar with the "Hull" program, as well. Here' the plan we used:

Here's the link to see the launching:

DRbabe,
THAT IS ONE OF THOSE STORIES THAT REMINDS ME WHAT A GOOD DAD IS !!!!!!
I see the picture of your daugther holding a drill and reminds me when my granpa teached me to drill, with a B&D drill, which he gave me that day, and now more than 35 years later, I keep and still remember those good old days with him.
You have given your daugther one of the best gifts, KNOWLEDGE.
My hat off to you man !!!
Congratulations on a beautiful job to both !!!
