So much for his promises of hope, now it's fear he must instill so his agenda can be pushed. I hope for the best, but afraid we are destined for the worst with him at the helm. I think I would feel safer being an alaskan bird during the EXXON VALDEZ spill.

Ferm, he does not have to instill fear, its here for me. In Michigan we have 10.6% unemployment my son was laid off this summer so it has hit our home. Billy Mac

But what happened to his whole promise of hope and change that he promised in EVERY one of his campaign speeches? That is the point here Mac, he has yet to live up to his campaign promises. He has decided to break those promises so he can increase his stronghold on the nation and keep the sheeple subdued. We have alot of problems, and government spending is largely to blame for this. So how does increasing government spending by such amounts that can't be fathomed going to correct this issue? How is increasing the fear that people already have going to help?

crisis, crisis, crisis...kinda reminds me of wmd, wmd, wmd...we need to stop the petty partisan bickering, get everybody TOGETHER, dump ALL of 'em and get somebody in there who'll represent the people again...

What he said! I don't think he's god, I think he's lower than a snakes belly myself. We NEED leadership, NOT fear mongering. As for the 8 years for GW to F things up, if you check youtube you will find plenty of speeches where he said this would happen right after he took office if clintons policies were not changed SOON. Well it happened yet he is being blamed 100%. GW's biggest downfall was that he wouldn't take a stand against the rest of DC. This was bound to happen no matter who was in the drivers seat the last 8 years. I agree with REEL on this one, the BIG problem is simply the fatcats in DC have been consumed with there own power that they simply do whatever it takes not to obtain more power AND money(for themselves). We NEED somebody to TRUELY bring change to DC, not to tow there line and go along with there ENORMOUS spending habits and fear mongering to obtain there goals.

This government needs to be by the people for the people yet again.
