Wanted to add my own tale of the good nature and kind heartedness of the Folks that own V20'S. I am a new-comer to this board having picked up a V just a few weeks ago (which was brought home an put to sleep for winter;( ) One of the requirements the admiral had if we were to get a new boat, was more seating than our Whaler had. She saw the V-liked it-but said "get a seat for the stern". So I set out looking for the mythical OE stern seat (the brackets were already in the deck of our V). Asking around on this forum, destroyer graciously offered up his seat as he found he has not been using it...awesome! So-how to get the seat from NJ to RI (~ 4 hr drive)? I could drive, or destroyer offered to meet 1/2 way...both good options. On a whim I thought i would post on the forum to see if anyone might be making the drive from NJ to RI for the holidays. In short order jvitiel responded that he was in fact heading this way and would be more than happy to give my seat...a seat...in his truck! The generosity extended to me as a newcomer here is most welcome. I can't say enough about these 2 Gentlemen and others here that have welcomed my many questions with open arms. The best way I can think to compensate all of you is to be sure I pay it forward given the opportunity. If anyone is in the RI area and I can be of any assistance please contact me. Thanks to All, Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New year to all! Bill Tex

Well since we're on the subject me and Destroyer are trying to make a deal on swapping a console he has for an enclosure I have. Big hitch is im in Va and he's in NJ so anyone going up and down 95 in the near future let me know. I can chip in some gas money.

I've been on this board since 2003...over the years I have experienced more kindness, generosity and plain good will than I can recount. It's comfortable here with good, reliable technical and general info from sincerely good people. It's why I keep coming back...
