Hi all , I compound and wax my 30 year old boat every year and I'm absolutely never quite satisfied with the outcome. The hull always looks chalky to me. I was in the local marine supply last week looking for that magic product and the sales associate told me to get this great product called Buff magic,, like most marine products I felt it was way over priced and I thought here we go again spending big money for some product that won't do the trick or be that magical product I'm looking for. Well I spread the buff magic in an x pattern just like the video says to, took my old 11 amp Milwaukee buffer and started buffing left to right then up and down, this stuff is not magic however it is an incredible product and my hull looks litteraly like it just came out of the show room...just thought id share this !!!!!

Sounds Good! I buff my V every year and use 3M Fiberglass restorer and wax with a spray bottle of water. I have a best friend that runs a autobody shop across the road and he suggested the spray bottle of water as it lubes the buffer pad on the boat and makes the compound go farther and work out better.

It's funny you said that cfelton, I was just wheeling out the last part of the hull the other day and as it just began to rain and I was trying to finish up I realized that the water was helping me to spread and wheel the product!! Now I'm looking to refinish my teak work. The stuff I used last year (minwax Helmsman ) was a collosal fail !!! And after all the prep work and thinned coats It looks worse than if I had left it the way it was. So any suggestions on a real good product for my teak would be appreciated guys ...

Glad I seen this. I'm putting my Seaswirl up for sale and it needs a good buff to try and squeeze a few extra bucks out of her. I'll definitely give this stuff a try.
