Smile 150 Suzuki 4 stroke won't start

This is a 2006 engine with 185 hrs, and it has been well maintained. The tank got water in it and the engine quit. The water issue is being resolved but I bought a 6 gallon tank and new hose to be able to ride now.
The fuel is new as is the tank but it won't start . I am not a mechanic, but i am inclined. Can anyone give me advice where to start. I did remove the injectors and drained the fuel rail and let it dry out. Still won't start. Any ideas?

Are you sure you have fresh fuel to the rails? Did you drain the vapor tank at the engine and fuel filter at the engine?

is it one of those new unvented tanks? Open the lid..

Did you have a water separator/10 micron filter connected when you had the problem with water?

It was running good ?and then you got water and it died?

There was water in the rail?

There is a low pressure fuel filter & pump (easy) and a high pressure fuel pump & filter (hard).
Check the low pressure filter for water. If it aint in there it aint anywhere.

You may have an airlock now. Check that it pumps fuel to the low pressure filter.

Don't take hard things apart before you try the easy ones. They are first in line

I have a pdf of theSuzuki DF140 service manual. It might be similar enough to help you. Send me a PM and I'll email you a link to download it from Google Drive.

I changed the low and high pressure filters , and then took the injectors out and cleaned them. The high pressure filter appeared to have rust in it .
The motor then started rite up. Tomorrow I'll head back to the lake to test it again. Thanks to all for the advice

My 140 has a small fuel reservoir on the right side of the motor, if you have one of those, it would be full of bad fuel and need to be drained.

My 140 will run at idle for at least 10 minutes without running out of fuel when the main line to the tank is disconnected.
