| Hit the water Saturday

Had a few hours where I could do the first test run of the season. Made it out for a few hours saturday afternoon. Did try a little trolling for stripers, but came up empty (mid\late afternoon didn't have high hopes). Good feeling that the boat is running and I am "good to go!" I did see another V20 coming in as I was going out, named tom thumb(?) rkc

Great Job getting it fixed!!! I was also out Sat trying to see if some improvements I did worked out, I added a Hydrofoil and lifted the motor but still think I need to re prop it I have a 17p but I have always had a 15 on it before. I was at Cleveland Light and there was a V20 there cuddy and he had his engine cover off, I asked if he has ever come here and he said no whats that? Never heard of it? I explained it and got the hell out of there before he asked for a tow!! I saw another V20 CC at the boat ramp at Tempest Knob and that also wasn't starting?? He also was not in a talking mood, so I just loaded up and dot out of there

Good job on the first run of the season guys! I took my V out for the first time of the season last week and it ran like a top. Only trouble I had was I forgot to close the petcock drain on the heat exchanger and thought I had a leak. HaHa! Gota little scare when I heard water running in the boat.
