Hi All,,, Please set me stright ...The cuddys cabins in the v 20,, where they all finished with fiberglass gelcoat or did some have wood and carpet it seems to me that the earlys models 73-78 were fiberglass gelcoat then the middle years79-83 were wood and carpet and now the 85-90 ars back to being all fiberglass and gelcoat ...

I think that is generally correct with a lot of exceptions as you could order different trim set ups, for example mine is a 92 and has no side rod pockets or holder set up and is the first one I saw like that. I saw two V cuddies of the same year and one had teak trim on the dash and around the inside and the other had black plastic. A lot of variations I believe.

My 72' and 83' cuddy boats both had fiberglass liner without any carpet in the cabin or cockpit. I guess the 83' did have a little "bunny fur" on the cabin overhead though. The biggest difference is that the 83' had a higher deckline and the 72' had a pair of 20 gallon saddle tanks and 2 storage compartments in the floor that drained to the bilge. I think the lower deck of the 72' gave it a very solid feel in rough water.
