Hey, I'd go for a North American Union.
We annex Mexico, all of Central America to the south side of the Panama Canal, all the Caribbean, naturally Cuba and Canada.
In a few more years we will have our economy down to their standards anyway so NOW IS THE TIME TO STRIKE!
