Iboats.com is having another cover sale. Awesome deals on custom fit covers from $39.95-79.95. I purchased one last year for my V, and just purchased another for my 1984 Formula. These are custom fit covers, but if you review the type of boat for which they were made, and with a little luck, you can get a terrific cover that will fit at a rock bottom price. I just got a teal cover made of sunbrella fabric for a cuddy cabin (chapparal) for $79.95. The one I purchase last year fits the V just fine, even though it was made for a crowline boat with a wakeboard tower!

What cover did you get for the V20? Is yours a Center Console or Steplift? I would love to get a cover for the V but it has such a unique shape its tough to find one that fits.

I bought a cover custom made for a 22 foot crownline bowrider with a wakeboard tower. It fits pretty well. My v20 is a cuddy. I went with the wakeboard tower so there would hopefully be enough height to the cover to go over the windshield. Again, it is not custom to the V, but there is enough extra cover to cover the wide deck and the bow rails and go over the windshield. I am pretty happy with it. It would NOT be good enough to trailer with, but it works just fine for it sitting in storage. Also, when I bought the cover for the V, there were not very many left, so I picked what I thought would fit best. I crossed my fingers when ordering it, but it worked out. I believe the covers can be returned if you order one and it does not fit.

Again, it will not be a custom fit to the V, but I think you can find one which will work. You will need to add some padding in the areas where the cover goes over the windshield, the rear cleats, etc.

If you are interested, better hurry. When this came up last time, MJ posted the sale, and within just a couple hours most of them were sold out. Good luck!
