Default Getting back in the game

Hey guys, sorry no post and pics but it has been a bad month. First I take the boat in to Randy Buck to get worked on because it wont crank and stay cranked. By the way this guy is a class act and strives to get you turned around in record speed.....wasn't used to that. He tells me my Evenrude looks perfect.....compression is excellent, no water in the lower unit, plugs are shot so he replaced them and fuel filter didn't look to bad. I pick it up Friday and head to the ramp. Engine cranks on first turn and runs like a whole new motor, no hesitation or sputtering and I was on my way. I'm so excited and this motor is humming along,,,,,,,and it shuts off. I pump the bulb, which will get kinda tight with gas but not as tight as I think it should be, and 10 cranks later it's up and running. Long story short it ran ok for a day and then I took wife and Blue to the sandbar Sunday and rode home with Seatow, who blames all of my problems on ethenol.

When I did the complete fuel tank and hose overhaul, I did not replace the piece of hose running from the water sep to the engine with pump bulb. I think(hope) the ethenol has broken down the lining in that old hose and it clogs at certain speeds and wont idle. The bulb just doesn't get as tight as it should. What do you guys think? I should replace that last hose and primer bulb and everything will be happily ever after right.

Thanks for letting me be a crybaby................what does this sound like?

Default In case you ain't already got one

BIMINI TOP dark blue sunbrella, 79-84 inch width, w/storage boot, $150. call 912-294-0924 Jesup
Probably, haul it back to Bucks and see if he has time to diagnose and fix it.
If not and if that thing had a filter before the injecters, do like you're thinking, also check the filter under the cowling.
