Default A 1981 restored V20 CC!

Another one of our members just put his boat up for sale. Slightly_twisted, why are you selling the V after all the work you put into it? Good Luck on the sale.

Default Good luck with the sale

1981 Wellcraft V20 Center console w/ 1986 Evinrude XP200. Bought the boat last year with intentions of complete restoration and use. 90% complete now.

Was transferred to midwest, and is to much boat for the area.

In a years time it has new fully incased fiberglass stringers + cross members, 60 gal aluminum gas tank w/ sending unit, fully incased fiberglass deck, through hull fittings, wiring, rocker switches, batteries relocated forward w/ new battery cable, battery selector switch, bow lights, walking lights, bilge pump, VHF, CD player, 4 speakers, ignition, paint, teak refinished, and bow rail. Transom is solid (NO FLEX), resealed engine mounts and rub rail. The engine is solid have replaced a few parts to keep up with age. It has new t-stats w/ gaskets, plugs, carburetor rebuilt, impeller, lower gear oil, decarbed twice, starter disassembled and cleaned. The only things left to do are cosmetics and details. You can take a look at the pics of the whole restoration process by following this link.

If you have any question please email me at [email protected].
Clean title on both boat and trailer; located in Kennebunkport, ME.

I know what you mean ST - with property values going down all over the country and banks loosing their as_ in the subprime market, getting a loan is hard and getting harder. Good luck on your endeavors and with or without the V, you've got friends here.

Dang ST, sorry you are having to sell.

I wish I were in the market, I'd snatch that one up!

There is an online thing where people loan money to other people, no banks, you might try it.

THANKS guys. Yeah I talked with a few guys today who might come up with the money. The thing i keep telling myself is i'm young and this was the first boat that I restored. I know I can do a better job next time, plus moving to the mid west I would love to have a cuddy with a little less of hog on the back. So once this all blows over and we get things back to normal i just might start looking for a cuddy project.
