We headed out of Woodstock Ct at 2 AM Sunday, arrived at Point Judith at 4 AM, launched by 4:30. The ocean was calm and the wind was 5 knots. It was looking to be a gorgeous day on the water and we were psyched. As we were making our way down the coastline to Misquamicut I looked back and seen the most beautiful sunrise I have witnessed in a long time. The sun was bright cherry red and on fire!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We fished from 5 AM till 5 PM and only two keeper fluke(both 20") but we threw back at least 40 fluke all ranging in the 16"/18" length. :'( Son's buddy caught a real nice scup about 16" and I caught a nice size seabass but nothing to bust any record. All in all, we had a great day and a lot of fun.
