Default Roller Bunks???

Ok who has the roller bunk and who likes em. I am looking to replace all of my rollers with the yellow poly ones because I had em on a smaller boat in the past and I loved it. But, this trail has eight of em and at 20.00/roller and 10/bracket + 7 per stainless pin...HELLO!!! 350.00 I am NOT going with regular black because I know it will scuff up my new baby when I put her on with the new paint in a couple weeks. ;D

So here is what I was lookin at for two sets...(200.00) I can go with these instead, but are these supposed to support the boat ENTIRELY...dont seem like the brackets would handle that kinda weight. :o If I gotta get these AND rollers then Ill just go with bunks and rollers.....Tell me what your experiences are please.

I would hate to put out $350, but I would not go with the bunks!!
I had them on a smaller boat and the suck big time!

They don't call them holes in the water for nothing!!

You could do what I did last year! And it worked great!! But again cost a pretty penny!! $2500 to be excat! But what a difference!!

I agree with MJ. A tandem with rollers. I have a bunk and it works fine at the launch I use but it drops down quite fast. If you get a roller trailer keep the boat hooked or as you back down it come off prematurely. Bill Mc ;D

Use the $$$ you'll waste on those roller-bunks and get new poly rollers...it's more money, but you won't regret it later...life's too short to CREATE problems... ;) ;D

Nice trailer, MJ...

If you're looking to save money on the poly rollers, do a search on ebay. There are some good deals there.
