![]() First off, no its not mine please read. ;D Well folks we had a little b-day get together for my sister yesterday afternoon and my uncle came over with his new ride. Its a brand new Corvette C-6. WOW is that thing perdy!! He has owned probably a dozen Corvettes throughout the years but the new flare on the C-6's just kills me...they are so fine. I have always loved Corvettes and I plan on restoring one one day when I can afford it. Anyways I bumed the keys from him to take the wife for a ride. She is a huge Vette fan as well and was thrilled. First of all..I couldnt get the doors open...I kept punching the keyless entry "unlock" button, but I never heard a "click". My wife finally figured it out. You reach around behind the handle and touch the rubber pad...it justs pops open by touch. *8) Ok great...we are off..but then I couldnt get the friggin thing cranked! I looked for all kinds of places to stick the key, but to no avail. I think I even stuck it in my butt once...just to see if that would do anything. It did, but not for the car. *;D I knew my uncle was sitting on the porch laughing at me so I swallowed my pride and walked back over there. He was. *;D He then *came over and showed me...you put your foot on the brake and push a button on the dash. I did and boy when I heard that thing purrin with me behind the wheel, I fell in love. * 8) I looked down at the odometer and it had 1400 miles on it. I told my wife he has had it for 6 months and it only has 1400 miles on it..."yeah"... she said "some people have it rough." *::) The ride: I know those things are fast ok, but I was in no way prepared for just HOW FAST nor HOW SMOOTH. We went around the corner to a deserted area and road. I punched it and held on tight. Note: from a dead standstill this thing DID NOT break traction....it applied every bit of the power to the road. It also done it so smooth I thought we were on one of those rides in Orlando. Well, we were screamin along and before I could really think about it good I looked down at the speedometer and we were doin 130mph. I then slowed us on down and looked over at my wife...she was doin this= *:o *followed quickly by this= *8) I decided before I get us thrown in jail, we better head on back, so we did. But what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than in a new Corvette with the woman you love by your side. 8)

Yeah I Love vettes she likes to see them but not the ride :( They are so much fun to have 440 HP under the hood and the wind blowing in your hair. LOL The only time she really liked the vette was one night I took her out in country and turned it loose to 176 MPH she said that was fast enough lol but then took her to a large area and cut several doughnuts LOL she liked that but other wise hates it lol. The great part in town i get 21 miles to the gallon and on the highway 28 to 30.

yeah it feels fast on a curvie 2 lane road that's when the trees start to look like tooth picks flying by at the speed of light. Just hope no deer want to step out and visit ya.
and *Willy lol good thoughts but I've never seen a super model help lay glass out and roll resin lol. Yeah Stinky those have traction control mine is like that you can punch it and it will just chirp the tires and then fly away. we're talking wide tires too mine are 335/35/ZR17 hugh rear tires. But if you turn the traction control off it will light up the tires and not stop spinning till you lift your foot.
