Default Pilot house

Has anyone here have a pilot house built on their V ? I'm toying with the idea of making a removable pilot house for my V. I think that would be great for striper fishing in the fall . Just a place to warm up and still fish when it gets nasty on the bay. I've seen the Bimini enclosures and they are nice but I think a ridged / removable enclosure is better. If anyone has one could you please post a pick for me . I'd like to get some ideas on how I would mount it.

Thanks
Dennis

never seen it but if it was light enough it would be sweet. The V20 cuddy's are a little bow heavy stock so it would have to be pretty light.

There was one posted in E-Bay that I posted once. It was made of wood. Needed alot of work as well. I think a V would look great with a pilothouse on it. ;D

I agree with you there. I'm thinking of using aluminum for the frame work with 1/4" Star board and Plexiglas. Probably 100 - 150 lbs I'm guessing which wouldn't even be noticed .

BR,

If we put a pilot house on our V's they would weigh 300 pounds because of the A/C unit we would have to put on it because of the heat.
