LEANING POST?
hey guys, the helm on these things looks awful low... does anybody run standing up or leaning or do you have to sit? if you stand do you have to stretch to reach the wheel?

i usually drive standing mine is just right at the top of the wheel or use your Nortons to hold the wheel if you're MJ.

I prefer to sit but visibilty becomes a problem if it is choppy, my windshield wiper does not work and any salt spray fogs up that windshield quick, a convertible leaning post seat would be nice I think, look right over the windshield, I have to crane my neck to do that now

Depends on the weather...COLD, I'm down BEHIND the windshield!!...not cold, I'm sittin' w/a cushion on the seat or standin'...6'4'' and no problem reachin' the wheel here... :)...toss the Nortons over the left shoulder ...clears access to throttle...

Weather permitting, I usually stand with the seat slid all the way back and have no problems reaching the controls.

The throttle business was a bit of a stretch...they won't reach over the right shoulder for some reason... ::)...

So Now i tend to sit, unless CB is with me, then he is th offical norton holder!! :-*

Mj has obviously taken one to many hits from the Hooka, because he seems to be tripping.......................... ::) I prefer standing and removed the flipback cooler seating from my center console and installed the leaning post shown in my gallery. Todd Industries makes a single pedestal leaning post that is interchangable with pedestal type seats. ;) http://www.boatdepot.com/product.aspx?id=455 This way, you're not commited to one or the other.
