Welcome to the site. I am a relative newbie too, but I think you may soon become hooked on this site. I really liked the translation of the V20. My guess is that the ad was translated from spanish to english and some of the translation just does not use the same terminology with which we are accustomed. I think you would find the V20 perfect for scuba diving and fishing. You can just tell from the age of the boats many of the members of this site have that these things can hold up for a long time. Good luck with your decision. |

Welcome to the site. I'm a diver myself. The V20 isnt bad for diving at all. I prefer the cuddy for dive gear storage, thus saving time from loading and unloading the gear all the time. *8)

Check the weight on the motor. I believe its a little over 600 lbs. If you sea trial the boat, check the water level on the stern. You don't need water rolling over the transom when you're backing down, especially if it's an older model with no foam floatation.

Hi Guy's, Thanks for the welcom to your site and the real fast feedback! :) I'm not sure of the boats build year yet, I have asked for that information and hope to get it soon. Below is the link to the site advertising the boat, perhaps one of you can guess the build year from the pictures and also give me your opinion of the condition? http://www.caribbean-market.com/_boa...ail=bild<br /> Thanks again, Kevin |

I've just seen that they have added the boat build year (1985) and the engine build year (2004). What do you think, is it worht the money they ask? Kevin |

That is a very nice looking boat. The trailer does not look like much. How would you get the boat from Venezuela to Curacao? Would you drive it over or would you put the boat and trailer on a ferry? I will let the more experienced weigh in on the price, but it seems a little high to me. Perhaps, however, with all the equipment it has it is reasonable.
