Default '84 Cuddy Windshield Frame Repair

Long time reader, first time poster!

I have an '84 cuddy hull and the windshield frame broke yesterday. The actual piece that broke is the top end of the aluminum channel on the hinge piece that connects to the center (active) window. The upper corner tore off around the screw. Any suggestions where I can purchase a replacement? Any thoughts on how to repair? I'm thinking to make a temporary repair to get through the last couple weeks of this boating season and, if necessary, make a long term repair after the boat gets hauled for the winter.

Thanks in advance,

Ken

I had to replace my drivers side glass and top frame rail. The windshield actually comes apart a lot easier than i thought. Might be able to pull broken frame, pull rubber gasket out and weld back together.

Had some friends use the aluminum welding sticks from harbor freight with some success. Bunch of YouTube videos on them.

Like Eric said, not sure what broke, pics would help

I have parts to a '78 windshield. Not sure if the two years are the same, but you can check out what I have. I'm in CT not too far away

Sorry I'm slow getting this on the site. Been a crazy week and didn't have a decent photo to upload.

It's the inside, upper corner of the hinged (port side) center window frame.
