Default Spearfishing trip 8//22/15

Went spearing last Saturday. Didn't slay em like I was hoping but still had a decent day. Ran into a school of mahi on the way out that were hanging around a piece of driftwood. The red grouper was easily 20 lbs, probably more. Boat is my buddy's 26' Wellcraft/Scarab that isn't really setup for diving or fishing, but it will ride the freak out. 250 Verado on the back. Until I get my v20 back up and running I'll be diving/fishing off of it.

Yep, we stayed in the 100 ft range. Saw several borderline scamp, that one was a no doubter.
