Default Considering a yamaha 225 purchase?

Looking at this late 80's yamaha 225 for the V. For $900, it seems like a good deal as long as the compression checks out. It's going on a bracketed V20, but the weight seems comparable to the 150's I have been looking at. Any thought or input from you guys?

Yep, that's it. I hadn't even noticed the heat marks on the lower unit...

it's missing the airbox . . . as others mentioned the shift shaft was a big issue. Those horizontal reed 2.6L excels are really strong engines and are very good on fuel.
