Default watching behind the scenes Jaws

I'm watching the behind the scenes show about Jaws on BIO. There are some great shots of old boats, Bertrams, Formulas, a few Airslots, lots of traditional wood New England style boats

Yep! I like watching the begenning of Gilligans Island to see all the old boats. There's something about those old wooden boats. They were built with real craftsmanship.

Thumbs up

I always liked the lines and look of the ORCA since I was a kid.

www.boneyardboats.com has a lot of cool old hulls for sale, most for less than $7000, and a lot of them free to good home.

I subscribe to the newsletter which gives you an account and that lets you see a lot more pics and info about each boat, plus lets you advertise for free. Def some good bathroom reading.

Thankfully most of the boats featured are not in GA/SC/FL, LOL!

Spare, I'm constantly reminded of what you told Reel once about an old Aquasport he had his eyes on, something like:

"If you want to experience what it would be like to own than old project, why don't you just go out in the yard and set fire to stacks of 100 dollar bills, spray yourself in the face with the water hose, and then roll around in a pile of fiberglass dust."
LOL

Great site Bradford! I subscribed and bought a tee shirt. I've always loved old wooden boats. Use to have a 37 ft. Colonial with twin slant-six Chryslers and velvet drives. Miss that old boat. Like Spare said, its a good thing I haven't got room for any more projects right now. But maybe later!!

Is there no way to look at listings without subscribing? It looks like great fun, but the last thing I need is another subscription. (The 40' Matthews almost got me to sign up just to see it! That has always been one of my favorites.)
