Saw this guys ad and feel his pain dealing with people on craigslist.
Thought I'd share: http://brunswick.craigslist.org/boa/4549495080.html Older Center console 70hp - $350 (St. Simons Island) This boat is a 1980 or so Surecast Center Console. It has a 70 hp Johnson motor on it. Q: Does it run? A: I have no idea if it will currently run. It did run fine prior to being parked 2 years ago. Q: Is it missing anything? A: I'm sure it is. I know that it is missing the tilt/trim motor for sure. Q: What condiditon is the boat in? A: Probably poor, but it does float. There has been a large piece of plywood placed on the deck, so I am sure there was some fiberglass rot there. The boat has been covered since it was parked. Q: Does it come with a trailer? A: Yes, the trailer is actually in pretty good condition. Q: Do you have any pictures? A: No, but imagine an older center console boat, with a piece of plywood covering a portion of the deck. Q: Is it currently registered? A: No it is not, and has not been for several years. I do have a bill of sale from the previous owner, however registration of the boat will be completely your responsibility. Q: Is the price negotiable? A: No it is what it is, if it doesn't sell for $350 then I plan to scrap the motor and trailer. The boat is available for viewing most days, please contact me by email. I may be interested in some trades on nice fishing gear, rifles, building supplies, old motorcycle, scooter etc.... I'm not interested in animals, art work, electronics, or naked pictures of your girlfriend or wife unless she is extremely good looking.
