Default 08.24.2014 - Fluke fishing

Yesterday was a great day for fishing, we tried to go to the Rockaway Reef but when we got there we were told we weren't allowed to fish it because of the controversial natural gas pipe they were putting down. So we had to go all the way back to Breezy Point. We fished between NJ and Breezy Point, nothing not even a bite. Suggested we move back into the bay by buoy 8, drift out of the bay over the Breezy Rip, well we made the move and what a move it was, even though we didn't get away from those nice 6-7 ft. Swells. It was non stop action from the minute we got there until we packed it in at 3pm. We caught a total of 124 Fluke with 5 keepers, Lloyd caught 40 with two keepers, Sal caught 36 with 1 keeper, I caught 30 with 2 keepers and Michael caught 18 with 0 keepers.

Yep that's typical fishing here! We have too wait for the V -20 weather and you better know where the bite is. Information is generally kept a little tight lipped. Take the challenge fish North East.
