Default My LAST DAY

Very excited guys. For the last three and a half months I have been renovating my middle daughters 4 bed 4 bath home which is 7 blocks away from me. by my self. It was quite an experience I must say. we had originally agreed that I would only do the kitchen and the trim work, well that didn't work. I wound up doing 80 percent of the sheet rock as I was not happy with the workers workmanship. which now meant that I would do all all the tapping and spackleing as well, and every bed room has a 12 foot cathederal ceiling. as well as moving the kitchen cabinets that I built for them 5 years ago and I had to build an 8 ft island as well as 2 more pantrys to match. all the trim the painting and a deck off the kitchen sliders. not bad your thinking ? Wrong! all this with a tool obsessed 1and a half year old little boy glued to me like nothing I could imagine. this little guy would break away from his parents at every opportunity and make a B line to Poppa and Poppa's tools and notjhing on this earth would stop him. it got to the point where I would just give him one of every screw gun , spackle knife( Plastic of course) Hammer, step ladder I had and let him stay in whatever room I happened to be in. my daughter and son in law just could not stop this little guy and I just could not deal with the screeming and crying. so at the end of every day when he would go to bed I would repair all the hammer dings messed up spackle and whatever else. and all this knowing that every day he mite get hurt as he is a very sought after child model that works for every major company in the country (yikes) the make up people were constantly fixing him up. Today I finish the cabinet crown moldings and I am getting out of their by noon today. this is a very happy day guys, oh and my youngest daughter just bought a small cape 2 blocks from me and it need to be completely gutted and I will start that in 2 weeks.NO KIDS thank god happy easter to all.

Great job John. Happy Easter to you and your family. I'll bet you'll be picking the little one up and taking him with you on the next job in short order.
