this also on a local level to protest closed national parks. If any one plans to go, be advised there is a "Occupy the belt line protest organized by truckers to occupy the belt way around DC in protest" so be advised about trafic conditions on Sunday

I just find it incredible that they are closing parks and things that "We, the people" own!! It's about time they found out who their masters really are. Throw all the bums out!!!

t all goes back to the "make it as painful on the people as possible" quote. It has been proven that many of the things that they have closed cost the government NOTHING at all to leave open, and some of them are even funded by private organizations(or better yet many of them MAKE the government money). Yet these are being closed while other non essential places that do cost the taxpayers money are being left open. Not to mention that they are spending money to keep these things closed by putting enforcement officers in places they have never been before. Yet if you listen the media it all the GOP's fault and o is just doing what he has to in order to deal with the extortionist GOP's.

the local out door gun ranges have been closed as they are part of the Francis Marion National Park, they've had to double up on patrols to the ranges because people are jumping the gate to shoot. Before, you never saw the rangers unless you were there early in the morning when it opened, or late in the evening when it closed, now they go by four or five times a day to check on it. people are getting fed up with this crap, Sunday could be a memorable day.

I just hope and pray (really) that no one gets hurt. Most of these Rangers are just people doing the jobs that they have been ordered to do by people higher up. (People who are NOT putting themselves at risk by going on patrols).. God help us if someone gets shot..

looks like a complete media blackout on the event. The only close mention on any major outlet calls it a Tea Party protest. the media blackout has me more concerned than the need for the event.
