My worst was Mirrocraft 16' Deep model.....aluminum with 40 hp tiller outboard.
That boat would start pounding on the trailer when it got close to the water !!! Ran it for about 8 years till I realized it was not nearly enough boat for me...... By the time I sold it, it leaked so bad I had installed a pump to keep up with it. Funny thing was.......filled the boat with water in driveway to find leak - no water leaked. Put boat in water , water at back end within minutes. Quick with the 40 hp, but wow that boat was WET and POUNDED !! |

Funny you should say that. I had a '72 16' Manatee that was bone dry if it sat in the water overnight - but if you ran it for the day it would have a gallon or two in it. Studied and scratched my head on that mystery for years but then sold it.

I have only had good boats so far...BUT
The Grady White Sailfish 25 with twin old school 200 Evinrudes was by far the costliest boat I ever owned, so it was the worst I suppose.
