You can remove the odor by dissolving one cup of dry mustard in a bucket of water. Use this solution to wash your boat. Use a mop to wipe the hull, trailer wheels and frame, repeating if necessary. Also you can use acids like tomato juice or baking soda. What you gotta do is chemically neutralize the smell, not merely wait it out. MaryKate On & Off should work also, since it contains Hydrochloric & Phosphoric Acids

wonder what would happen if you just went and ran the boat, that's one way to pressure wash the hull. Leave the trailer in the water at the ramp for a while

It's a good idea, but it doesn't work too well. (experience talking here)
That's why I suggested the other stuff. Ran over a dead skunk one day on the way to the shore a few years back. Underside of the truck and the boat both got stinky. Ran the truck thru 3 car washes down the shore. (The kind with the jets that spray up from the bottom to wash the sand and salt off the bottom of your truck.) Didn't really work all that well, and the boat still had an aroma after a day on the ocean. Finally used the mustard wash.. and that took away 99% of it. Only problem was every time I went near the boat I kept wanting a hot dog & a beer.

hey, its just another good reason to take the boat out. Tell the wife, "honey, I've got to go run the stink off this boat, going to be gone a while, don't wait up" maybe if you cover the smell with bait might help
