Default ok, need some help.

so if you guys come across a tin boat or a skiff or cartopper in the 12 to 16 foot range, i'm in the market. will drive a few hours if need be. lets say about a grand, tops. something with a little motor on a decent trailer would be nice. if you guys come across anything, please let me know. everything in new york is priced to sit.

check for wooden boat shows, wooden boat magazine and west system have build a boat in a day workshops at different boat shows, there may be one in your area. families are invited to participate, you pay for the materials, they help with guidance and expertise

i'd love a little glass skiff like a carolina or a tin V hull. wood would be my last choice. my boy wants us to get a couple of scramblers but i think the skiff would be more versatile.

I use to have a 12 with a 6hp was great little boat but i was over 300 lb then and was always looking at the sky while under way LOL
I have 0 money right now but when I start looking again I am going to look for a 14 to 16 tin boat or Amesbury skiff, side console is in middle of boat and a much better ride with the driver off the rear!
Keep looking CTT there out there, just need to be in the right place at the right time! Look how long it took for a truck!!
