Damn that was a fat amber jack. Fished for those once on a charter out of daytona a while back. Came in and the mate ran one into a restaurant and came out ten minutes later with the tastiest fried fish nuggets i have ever had

Couple of my college buddies paid the mortgage off on that place.

That is a great idea to use a flyrod on the bass when they are coming to the upper water column like that. Awesome vid.
